TOMORROW STARTS TODAY

On May 15, International Day of Family, the youngest participants of the School-University-Company Program, Kids stage - kindergarten children and their parents attended the holiday called "Mom, Dad and me: we are an engineering family".

32 teams from 6 Omsk kindergartens took part in engineering championship, including families of ONHP employees: Ms. Svetlana A. Vozmitel, ONHP Chief Engineer, with her son Ivan; Mr. Denis I. Madgazin, Construction Management Division Director and Ms. Maria S. Madgazina, Mechanical & Piping Cat. I Engineer with the daughters Daria and Maya; Mr. Anton D. Remnev, Project Chief Engineer and Ms. Elizaveta I. Remneva, Civil Cat. II Engineer with the daughter Agnia.

The competition was held in the format of stations where participants got tasks aimed at creativity and engineering thinking development by the future engineer:

- assemble animal figures from the Lego,

- create a family team badge using the appliqué technique,

- fold origami figures,

- assemble a control joystick based on the WeDo 1.0 and test its operation in the visual programming environment.

This event was arranged by ONHP together with SNEIL center and OSTU center of educational projects, which prepared an interesting and challenging program for young engineers and their parents.
