Euro-5 is not the limit

Diesel Hydrotreater (DHDT) designed by OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT JSC (ONHP) for Omsk Oil Refinery has reached design capacity.

Commissioning Ceremony of DHDT at Gazprom Neft-Omsk Oil Refinery JSC was held in October.

Motor fuel hydroskimming complex which includes catalytic cracking naphtha hydrotreater operates in normal mode and demonstrates great performance.

Hydrotreated downstream fuel content of sulphur makes up to 5 ppm.  It is to be recalled that sulphur content in fuel of Euro - 5 standards makes 10ppm.

DHDT was designed by OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT JSC (ONHP) specialists. They implemented unique engineering solutions, gained experience in completing design and construction phases together with the Client.

- Design peculiarity of DHDT is a double-flow approach which allows to maintain two flows with capacity 1.5 MTA – declared General Director ad interim Ms. L.Y DERYABINA - In order to accelerate the process we closely cooperated with BDP designer UOP (USA). Having participated in construction, we both gained experience and entered new level in design.

DHDT allows Omsk Oil Refinery to release fuel which complies with Euro-5 standard. Project implementation was the result of well-coordinated work of designs, constructors and Omsk Oil Refinery specialists. DHDT processing capacity makes 3 MTA of feedstock.
