ONHP and Siberian Division of Russian Academy of Sciences agreed to cooperate

ONHP young specialists held a meeting with Mr. Vasiliy Kan, Chairman of the Scientific Youth Council at Omsk Scientific Center of Siberian Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences (OSC SD RAS) to discuss potential options of cooperation in science, culture, sports and social sphere.

It was the first meeting between young engineers and scientists aimed at establishing and strengthening relations between ONHP and scientific, R&D and educational institutions. According to Mr. Anton REMNEV, Chairman of ONHP Youth Expert Council, the meeting revealed that Youth Councils of both institutes have a lot in common and this fact suggests many options to develop cooperation.

The parties consider interacting in scientific and industrial spheres and using the companies resources to exchange information as one of the focus areas. Particularly, OSC SD RAS specialists showed their interest in Scientific Interregional Conference, which has been annually held for several years at ONHP and attracted many young engineers, specialists from Omsk and other regions. In return, Scientific Center got ONHP representatives acquainted with its electronic scientific library. Therefore, ONHP specialists can use in their work not only ONHP library collection but also OSC SD RAS library materials.  

ONHP young specialists actively participate in School-University-Company education project which has been implemented in the company for more than 15 years. Scientific Youth Council interacts also very closely with various Omsk educational institutions. Thus, the list of permanent partners includes Poisk Scientific Society of Students. The young specialists think that schoolchildren undergoing on-the-job training at the company and students of ONHP-based faculties will be interested in Poisk activity in order to gain extra knowledge and professional competences, to expand communication channels and exchange experience.
