ONHP: Generating Future. New Approaches to Future Co-Projects

On October 18, 2013 ONHP hosted a meeting with Gazpromneft-ONPZ JSC specialists to introduce a technology of continuous engineering management.

The essence of the technology is an efficient transmission of data and deliverables from the current engineering phase to any and all later phases. Such technology is characterized by a wide range of modeling options as well as by capabilities for project participants to monitor all phases.

The main principles of the technology, which ONHP has been following for the third year so far, are as follows:

- establishment of an Integrated Project Team comprising of Client’s representatives under disciplines;

- development of Project Specifications;

- selection of software products for project implementation;

- implementation of Design Development System which enables worksharing activities with remote users under the joint Project.

Some large-scale oil refinery and petrochemical complexes designed by ONHP with the participation of international engineering companies were demonstrated to ONPZ specialists. The meeting participants discussed the capabilities and implementability of the Jobs applying the same technology of continuous engineering management at Omsk Oil Refinery. 

It is to be recalled that ONHP as a General Designer of Omsk Oil Refinery has been participating in construction and modernization of the refinery facilities for many years.
