The ONHP online youth conference brought together future engineers and researches
On November 21, 2020, ONHP ran the XI Sci-Tech online conference “Engineering 4.0 Petroleum Chemistry, Oil Refining and Information Technologies”. For the first time Sci-Tech Conference was held in an online format (on the Zoom platform). Igor M. Zuga (PhD in Engineering), OHNP Chief Executive Officer in his welcoming speech noted this feature of the new reality, the need to be ready to respond quickly to changes and invited the participants to think about the question of what is the driver of science today. Experts and participants of the conference - representatives of higher educational institutions, general educational organizations of Omsk and young specialists working for ONHP, tried to answer during the discussions and speeches, including the question raised. The experts noted the progressively growing level of preparation of the speakers. The conference participants touched upon such modern trends in design development as digitalization, information modeling, environmental engineering. The works of the conference participants were evaluated according to the following criteria:
progressiveness of an idea- relevance of an idea
- possibility of practical application
- depth of project development
- economic efficiency
- quality of material presentation
- quality of answers to questions.
In the section "Digitalization and Information Technologies", which was attended by students and master’s students of Omsk universities the winners are:

The 2nd year master’s students student of FSBEI of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University", CAD-Engineer of the integrated production department of OHNP made a presentation “Development of Excel-nomogram for calculating the separator of the flare unit”;
The 2nd place winner is Anatoly R. Ligay,
The 1st year master’s students student of FSBEI of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University" made a presentation “Optimization of the distribution of the raw material pool of deep oil refining units”;
The 1st place runaway winner is Semen A. Pakhomenko,
The 1st year master’s students student of FSBEI of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University" made a presentation “Optimization of the operation of the Gas Fractionation Unit-2”;
In the nomination "Innovation" the winner is Evgeniya S. Pavlyuk,
the 2nd year master’s students student of FSBEI of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University", an engineer of OHNP Test Center, made a presentation "Development of a digital model of a plate heat exchanger";
In the section “Petroleum Chemistry: Technologies and Innovations. Environmental Engineering ", that unites students and master’s students of Omsk universities the winners are:

The 1nd year master’s students student of FSBEI of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University", CAD-Engineer of the integrated production department of OHNP made a presentation “Assessment of the ecological state of soils on the ONHP territory”

The 1nd year master’s students student of FSBEI of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University” made a presentation “Mechanical strength of alumina supports for catalysts for hydrotreating processes”;
The 1st place winner is Andrey S. Zimanko,
The 1nd year master’s students student of FSBEI of Higher Education "Omsk State Technical University” made a presentation “Hydrodeoxygenation of sorbitol in the presence of palladium catalysts based on tungstate-containing aluminum and zirconium oxides”;
In the “Ecology” nomination the experts appreciated the performance of Anastasia K. Shmygleva. Among the students of general education organizations, the expert commission allocated places as follows:
The 3rd place honorary winner is Mariya E. Penkova, The 6th grade school student of BOU in Omsk "Engineering and technological lyceum No. 25" made a presentation "Investigation of the quality of winter diesel fuel at gas stations in Omsk by chemical methods";

The 10th grade school students of BOU in Omsk "Engineering and technological lyceum No. 25" made a presentation "Creation of a technological map for liquidating the consequences of oil spills using environmentally friendly sorbents for oil companies";

The 9th grade school student of BOU in Omsk “Secondary school № 56 with in-depth study of individual subjects " made a presentation “Making safe paints at home ”;
In the nomination "Innovation" the winner is Anna V. Pavlova,
The 10th grade student of BOU in Omsk "Engineering and technological lyceum No. 25" made a presentation "Investigation of promising methods for cleaning the environment from oil".
